Professional Photography….I truly believe that it was the responsibility given to me when I was put on this amazing planet. This has been my passion since I was a child. It has always been important for me to freeze time with my photography…whether it be a portrait or a magnificent bloom. (If I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually digging in the dirt.) It is the idea and reality that you may never experience that single moment again.

Professionally, I started shooting weddings in 1986 putting myself through college. That was just the beginning of the journey and after 30+ years I create just about every type of professional photography you could imagine. This journey is one that has been filled with successes, challenges and random events that confirmed my strong belief that everything happens for a reason.

Case in point…2019…it was a year of recovery and discovery. Recovery because our studio building was destroyed by fire which brought with it an unbelievable amount of changes. Finding a new, permanent location was only one of many issues that needed to be dealt with throughout the year. Discovery because it forced me to find new places to shoot, find new props, develop new friendships and accept that I’m not in control of this path.

So you see, a lot of good has come out of a lot of bad….that is the “Silver Lining” and I embrace the new adventure with enthusiasm.
